International Education: ACTR/ACCELS
Russian Language and Area Studies Program American Councils offers academic year, semester, and
summer programs for Russian language study in Moscow, St.
Petersburg and Vladimir. Program features: weekly cultural
excursions; full-time resident director; academic credit from
Bryn Mawr College; and housing with a Russian host family or in
the university dormitory. Financial aid available; undergraduate
and graduate students with two years of Russian are eligible to
apply. Eurasian Regional Language Program American Councils offers academic-year, semester, and
summer programs for language study in Central Asia, the South
Caucasus, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia. Academic
programs are tailored to participant requests; students are
enrolled in either small group classes or individual tutorials.
Program features: housing with a Russian host family;
pre-departure orientation; logistical support from American
Councils regional offices; academic credit from Bryn Mawr
College. Financial aid available; students with at least two
years of study in either the host country language or Russian
are eligible.
